Post Chair: 2017 - Present
Deborah has served as an Ambassador for the University of Utah Women’s Resource Center
Community Advisory Board since January 2016. She was Chair from January 2016 – April
2017, and currently holds the position of Post-Chair.
Deborah is the Marketing Communications and Public Relations Specialist for Castle
& Cooke Mortgage where she drives public relations initiatives, facilitates corporate
community involvement and helps to create and distribute internal and external communications.
Her career began with a position as Assistant Finance Officer at Oxford University
Development North America in New York City. Upon completion of her stint in New York,
Deborah and her husband, Paul, moved to Santa Barbara, California to start a small
business, as well as a family. After taking time off work to raise her four children,
she returned to her Utah roots where she accepted a position with Zions Bank as the
Economic and Public Policy Marketing Coordinator, and further developed her experience
in finance branding and communications, as well as technical writing and data analytics.
Deborah describes herself as, “A mother, a wife, a planner, a writer, an analyst,
a news-junkie, a learner, a data-nerd, a people-watcher, a Type-A-er, a foodie, a
traveler, a music-lover and an admirer of all thing beautiful – especially shoes.”
