Kim Hall

Kim Hall has been with the University of Utah for 15 years. First as adjunct faculty, and then 13 years with the Women’s Resource Center (WRC). Initially, Kim was the program coordinator, originating the Go Girlz Community Initiative and the Sponsored Student Program (U START) among other pieces of community and campus programming. Kim is currently the associate director of the WRC, as well as the development officer, overseeing all grant writing and fundraising. Additionally she produces video content for both the WRC and the Women’s Enrollment Initiative (WEI). Kim has worked with hundreds of students throughout the years and is known as a ‘fixer’ or the ‘Olivia Pope’ of the WRC. Kim is involved in committee work, the Women’s Leadership Summit, fundraisers, and evolving programs or campaigns the WRC or WEI envision each year. 

Kim has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Mills College, is currently working with the non-profit Edge of Discovery, which is a media arts initiative made up of a vibrant community of filmmakers, innovators and people from all walks of life who are coming together to encourage exploration, imagination, and healthy expression through emerging media. Kim is an outdoor enthusiast, social and environmental activist, and creative writer.
